CHMP Recommends Approval of Dupixent® (dupilumab) for Moderate-to-Severe Atopic Dermatitis in Adolescents

 Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Sanofi today announced that the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use has adopted a positive opinion for Dupixent® (dupilumab), recommending to extend its approval in the European Union to include adolescents 12 to 17 years of age with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis who are candidates for systemic therapy.

Pfizer Announces That Revatio (Sildenafil) Did Not Meet Primary Efficacy Endpoint for Newborns with PPHN

Pfizer, which sells blockbuster drug Viagra for Erectile Dysfunction and Revatio for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, has announced that intravenous sildenafil added to inhaled Nitric Oxide for treating newborns with Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint after considering the findings of Phase 3 Study to assess its safety and efficacy.
